The problem
OnSite Landscape had a strong existing site by the standards of the landscaping industry — real project photography, a clear tagline, and a basic page structure. But the homepage used a wide hero image of an Arizona desert pool landscape, a centred serif headline, and then immediately dropped into a two-column text block — paragraphs about the design process, the master plan, the client relationship. Dense, static, unengaging copy that asked visitors to read before they'd seen enough of the work to care.
Below that, a row of three project images sat beside a single client testimonial overlay with no context — no project name, no scope, no before/after. The testimonial was compelling, but disconnected from any specific project or outcome.
Crucially, none of the company's most powerful credentials were visible anywhere above the fold: 15+ years in operation, 500+ completed projects, near-perfect client satisfaction, and multiple industry awards. These numbers existed, but the site wasn't using them.
The goal
Elevate the site to match the premium positioning that OnSite's project work and client base demands — surfacing the credentials, letting the photography lead, and making it effortless for a Scottsdale homeowner to start a conversation.
What we built
The redesigned homepage opens with a dramatic full-bleed landscape photograph — immersive, aspirational, exactly the quality of environment OnSite creates for clients. The headline is preserved but given proper typographic weight, with "exceptional" set in italic to add rhythm: "We design, build and maintain exceptional landscapes."
Immediately below the hero: a clean stats bar — 15+ Years · 500+ Projects · 98% Satisfaction · 12 Awards. Four numbers that instantly communicate the scale and quality of the operation to a visitor who has never heard of the company before.
The mid-page section uses a side-by-side layout — large lifestyle photography of a landscape architect reviewing plans, paired with two benefit statements about sustainable sourcing and ecological practices. A dark green "Transformative Services" section below organises the full scope of work — landscape design, build, and maintenance — as distinct service cards, each linked to a project gallery and dedicated service page.
“The site now matches the quality of our actual work. High-value leads are finding us who never would have called before.”
